- Team Quarterbacks and Team Kickers have been abolished. All players at that position are held individually. 2001
- Special Teams is now included in Defensive scoring (the position will now be represented by DST). 2001
- If a team is unable to field a starting lineup at the beginning of the week's games, that team will forfeit that game. 2002
- If a team fields no lineup, that team will take 0 points for all positions, and forfeits.
- A team may use a player or team DST on bye, and take an automatic 0 points from that position, without further penalty.
- No team may have fewer than 10 or more than 16 players on their roster at any given time. 2002
